Fitness Friday: How a Personal Trainer Helps You

Let’s dive into why and how working with a Wellview certified  personal trainer can help keep you motivated to reach your fitness goals!

Most people have heard about a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) at some point. In fact, a CPT can typically be found at a fitness, clinical or other wellness related facility in order to be hired by an individual, couple or small group, who seeks to schedule a one-on-one appointment with a trained professional. Trainers like a Certified group fitness instructor, can specialize in fields like general fitness, weight loss, sport skills, rehabilitation, etc.  If you seek a regular appointment for accountability, motivation and knowledge in order to provide expert advice and results, a trainer may be for you. So what should you expect when working with a Wellview personal trainer?

Essentially, a Wellview CPT can do all the things a regular trainer can with a few restrictions. All sessions are conducted via telephone which means your trainer will not be able to demonstrate and correct form in person. However, your CPT can provide easy-to-use resources that walk you through the proper form of prescribed exercises. Additionally, you will receive a prescribed plan, fresh exercise ideas and doable fitness goals. Unfortunately, that leaves it solely up to you to get up and actually put into action your plan in order to achieve your personal goals. Though telephonic training may not be for everyone, it can certainly be an added resource for your personal health journey.

Here’s what you can get out of working with a Wellview Health CPT.

Planning

Whether you’re looking for tweaking of your existing exercise routine or a brand new plan to help get you started in the right direction, a Wellview CPT can assist you. With videos and step by step directions, our trainers help you determine the right strategy to meet your personal goals.

Accountability

Speaking of goals, setting fitness goals can be critical to your success. One way a Wellview CPT holds your feet to the fire so to speak is by helping you set goals that meet you where you are while also challenging you in the way you need. Every time you speak with one of Wellview’s trainers you can expect that he or she will ask how your fitness goals are coming along.

A Wellview CPT is a well versed practitioner who practice what she preaches. In addition to a higher education, our trainers are credentialed through reputable organizations and have many years of experience under their belt.
