Menu Monday: The Easiest Green Smoothie Meal Replacement

A smoothie on the way out the door or after a morning workout is one of the simplest ways to get in a “meal replacement” a.k.a. a substitute for a solid food meal, usually with controlled quantities of calories and nutrients. Traditionally, a smoothie is the go-to option here, and that’s why you see so many hip juice and smoothie bars opening up around you. However, you can skip the line and do it yourself! Check out my simple DIY recipe for the easiest green smoothie meal replacement!

 

 

Ingredients per serving

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ½ banana
  • ½ Apple
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 capsule spiraling
  • 1 scoop protein powder (I use plain collagen protein)
  • 1 tablespoon stevia
  • 2tbsp almond butter
